Stratford Parkway taps into existing park & ride facility

A new parkway rail station has opened in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, seven months ahead of schedule. The £7m parkway has been built at Bishopton next to an existing park & ride facility on the A46.

The station makes use of the park & ride facilities with a car park that can accommodate up to 725 vehicles.

This provides an alternative to  driving into central Stratford to get the train from the existing Stratford station.
