The number of bus passengers carried by operators participating in the Sheffield Bus Partnership grew 1.1% in the partnership’s first year, according to South Yorkshire PTE.
The growth is lower than the 3% target set for the Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) scheme, which was launched on the 28 October 2012. SYPTE notes that the growth also comes as the area’s economy improves.
