As an ex-traffic officer and class 1 police advanced driver, it does worry me when people such as Rod King of 20’s Plenty for Us and academics such as Danny Dorling have so much to say in the life and death issue of road safety, driving, accident reporting and prosecutions without any background in those subjects (Letters and ‘Blanket 20mph limits a priority, says academic’ LTT 24 Jan).
