Belfast City Council has announced the launch of Northern Ireland’s first public bike hire scheme with the signing of a six-year contract with NSL. 

NSL’s transport and urban design consultancy arm Project Centre worked on the London Bike Hire scheme. NSL will work with Nextbike, which is providing the bicycle infrastructure and management system. Up to 30 docking stations will be provided as part of the first phase of the scheme.
