University of Leicester opens Bike Park for campus commuters

The University of Leicester has created a secure bike park as part of an upgrade of its library

Colleges and universities across Britain are encouraging cycling as an alternative to car travel. Providing well located, safe and secure cycle parking is a key to making two wheels attractive to staff and students. The University of Leicester used the refurbishment of its library as the opportunity to create a ground-breaking underground cycle park for over 300 bikes.
