Traffic up after Humber toll cut

The cut to Humber Bridge tolls seems to have boosted traffic levels, according to figures published by the Humber Bridge Board. Tolls were cut in April 2012 – the car toll was halved from £3 to £1.50. In the two years to March 2014 traffic increased by 15.7%.
