A sensor-based parking management system is to be installed at 27 car parks across the London Underground network. Transport for London (TfL) has signed a five-year deal with Smart Parking for 1,500 SmartEye infrared sensors to be rolled out during 2015. The system will be installed at about half of TfL’s car parks including Greenford, Hounslow, Highgate, Harrow-on-the-Hill, Queensbury, Mill Hill East, Wanstead and Leytonstone.
