Dorset County Council is commissioning a study into improving north-south road links in the county.
Parsons Brinckerhoff, the county’s strategic partner, is to prepare an economic assessment report into the case for upgrading
the A350, which connects Poole with the A303 in Wiltshire and north to Bath and Chippenham. It may also be asked to prepare a report on the A354/A37, which connects Portland/Weymouth with the A303 just north of Yeovil in Somerset.
