National Express Group (NEG) has been named preferred bidder for two further rail contracts in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The contracts don’t commence until December 2018 and December 2020 respectively, both running until December 2033. They cover three lines (Koblenz-Cologne-Wesel; Cologne-Dusseldorf-Minden; and Aachen-Dusseldorf-Dortmund). Combined revenues from the contracts are expected to be 1Bn Euro over their lifetimes.
