Scottish councils should be given the power to introduce a standard charge to help fund transport and other infrastructure associated with development, according to a new report for the Scottish Government.

The recommendation features in a review of infrastructure planning commissioned by a cross-Government team – including Transport Scotland – from consultants Ryden, WSP, and Brodies LLP.
