Ultra-light rail study for Devon line

Rail campaigners are trying to raise £100,000 to fund a feasibility study of reintroducing passenger services on the four-mile Newton Abbot to Heathfield branch in Devon. For the last three years the line has been used for loading timber trains but these ceased in April. Lightweight Community Transport (LCT) and EcoRail Ltd want to run a passenger service over the branch.
