The first of a new fleet of Gatwick Express trains has started operation between London Victoria and the airport.
The 27 four-carriage Electrostar trains, run by Govia Thameslink Railway, are set to replace the existing 30-year-old rolling stock.
Gatwick Airport CEO Stewart Wingate said that by 2018 the service will run from the airport for London every three minutes, and there will be four non-stop trains between the airport and Victoria each hour, in both directions,
