Workplace parking levies and other innovative financial mechanisms could raise millions for public transport, suggests the Campaign for Better Transport (CBT). The campaign is urging the government to consider broadening the ways in which public transport is financed in the UK, and believes it could learn from innovative schemes like Nottingham’s workplace parking levy (WPL).
