The latest Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) annual report reveals that revenues fell from £6.02bn to £5.93bn. The drop is being attributed to the scrapping of the paper version of the Vehicle Excise Duty disc in 2014, which resulted in a fall of almost £100m in 2015-16.
