An on-demand ride-sharing service for commuters has been launched in Bristol by public transport operator RATP Dev.
The service, branded Slide Bristol, is said to be the first such scheme in the UK. Six Volkswagen Transporters, with capacity for eight passengers, are available for the service between 07.30 and 09.30 and 16.00 to 19.00, Mondays to Fridays.
