Disabled drivers are all too used to finding bays designated for their use occupied by cars belonging to people with no mobility issues.
In a bid to show how this selfish behaviour affects the lives of disabled people, on 8 August a council blocked kerbside spaces in a High Street with wheel chairs.
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead staged the intervention on Ascot High Street to raise awareness of people without Blue Badges about the impact of parking in disabled bays.
