Over 4.6 million PCNs issued in London, new figures reveal

Number parking penalties fall to lowest level in 20 years

Over 4.6m penalty charge notices were issued for parking and moving traffic contraventions in London during 2015/16, according to figures released by London Councils. 

The number of PCNs issued by London’s boroughs and Transport for London (TfL) actually fell by 82,000 from 4,746,219 in 2014/15 to 4,664.281 in 2015/16. This also represents a drop of 267,535 since 2011/12.
