Use of contactless cards is booming, says Mintel

The use of contactless cards has soared in the UK over the past year, according to market research company Mintel. Some 39% of people have a contactless debit card to make a payment over the past year, up from 28% of people in 2015. Similarly, contactless credit are used by 34% of people, up from 28% in 2015.
