Operators fail to meet York’s cash goal in P&R contract bids

The City of York Council is to run a new tender for its park-and-ride contract after bus operators failed to meet the council’s financial expectations in the original procurement.

FirstGroup currently provides the park-and-ride services from six sites around the city, which have capacity for about 5,000 cars.
