Civil enforcement officers in Sevenoaks are now using electric bikes to patrol the Kent town’s streets.

Sevenoaks District Council has bought two electric bicycles in order to help the CEOs cover greater distances and negotiate hills. The council said the e-bikes will be more efficient and help reduce its carbon footprint by reducing the need to use diesel-engined vans.
