Wandsworth moves toward a cashless parking economy

Most parking terminals in Wandsworth will be cashless after a recent upgrade of the London borough’s on-street pay & display stock. The south London council has just installed 177 Parkeon StradaPAL terminals as part of a renewal programme. They replace machines that were up to 17 years old.

The new batch follows the installation of 140 StradaPAL machines during 2014. 

All the new terminals selected by Wandsworth are solar-powered and are Chip & PIN and contactless card...
