Drivers of pure electric vehicles in Dundee will be able to park for free at city council car parks. The scheme went live on Monday 6 December.
Once signed up, the car’s registration number will be put into the council’s ANPR to enable the barrier to lift on arrival and departure at multi-storey car parks. The vehicle’s details will also be added to the council’s permit scheme database for surface level car parks.
