FirstGroup is to take over park-and-ride bus services in Ipswich from current incumbent, municipally-owned Ipswich Buses.
The existing cross-city service 800 connects the London Road park-and-ride site in the south-west of the city with the Martlesham facility in the east. The service operates to a 12-minute daytime frequency and carries about 500,000 passengers a year.
