A civil enforcement officer (CEO) has died after his moped collided with a lorry while he was on patrol for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in south-west London.
The CEO, Beju Shah, worked for the council’s parking enforcement provider NSL.
The collision happened at the junction of Coombe Lane West and Trap’s Lane on 5 January. Shah was taken by air ambulance to St George’s Hospital in Tooting but later died.
