Dorset County Council is introducing a £70 parking fine to curb motorists collecting or dropping off passengers on a road leading to Bournemouth Airport.
The council is bringing in a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for Parley Lane on 21 April. The local authority said it hoped that the TRO would help tackle safety issues caused by motorists stopping at “unsuitable point” along the road in an attempt to avoid paying to drop-off or pick-up at the airport.
