Thefts of farm vehicles are on the increase, with Land Rover Defenders and quad bikes being a particularly popular target, a report on rural crime has revealed. 

Besides vehicle and livestock theft, fly-tipping and illegal waste dumping are also increasing problems for farmers and landowners, often costing tens of thousands of pounds to clear up.
