E-STOR and Renault create quick-charge stops for locations with poor grid connectivity

A system that uses ‘second life’ electric car batteries as stationary power sources which can provide rapid roadside charging for electric vehicles has made its debut in Europe. With the E-STOR system, the second life batteries are recharged at low power, and the stored energy is then released at high power.
