A six-month trial of closing bus stop in an attempt to speed up services will commence in south Birmingham next week (LTT 01 Sep).
The Transport for the West Midlands (TfWM)/National Express West Midlands trial will see 59 lesser-used stops closed across six routes: 8a/8c – Inner-circle; 50 – Alcester Road; 45/47 – Pershore Road; and 63 – Bristol Road.
The number of closures is smaller than the 90 envisaged in August (LTT 01 Sep).
