Groupe Renault has launched a subsidiary that will enter the energy and smart grid sectors, both of which the French carmaker regards as being fundamental to the expansion of electric mobility.
Renault Energy Services will invest in smart grid-related projects. It will focus chiefly on the development of smart charging, vehicle to grid interaction and second-life batteries.
