Chargie re-launches as Bookmycharge ahead of investment round

Peer-to-peer electric vehicle (EV) charging service Chargie has re-launched under the new name Bookmycharge. The start-up decided to change its name after it became aware of a similarly named company called Chargy (www.char.gy), which supplies councils with EV chargepoints for installation onto lampposts.

The Bookmycharge service’s core offer is giving EV drivers the ability to book a charge rather than risking heading to an out-of-service or occupied public charging points....
