Roads around three primary schools in Croydon are being temporarily closed roads at the start and end of the day to see if this encourages parents to use cars less.

The roads by Heavers Farm and St Chad’s in Selhurst and Woodcote in Coulsdon are now restricted on the morning and afternoon school runs.

The schools signed up to the six-month Croydon Council scheme because of their concerns about parking and pedestrian safety.
