TfL increases new train order

Transport for London is to procure a further nine Class 710 electric trains from Bombardier. The original order was for 45 trains for use on services including former West Anglia routes that TfL has taken over, and the Gospel Oak to Barking route, which is being electrified. The new order is for six additional five-car trains and three four-car trains.
