Leicestershire County Council has submitted an outline business case to the DfT for the northern and eastern sections of the Melton Mowbray Distributor Road. Estimated scheme costs, including development work, are £74m of which the council is bidding for £55m from the DfT’s £475m Large Local Major Transport Schemes Fund.
