University of Brighton to get new car park

A new multi-storey car park is to be built at the University of Brighton. The 545-space building has been designed by structural engineers Stripe Consulting.

The car park’s six levels will be created using a composite deck structure and be clad in a perforated metal façade, which will also feature green wall elements. 

The building has been designed with provision for electric vehicle charging. 

A cycle store with shower and changing facilities will be located on the ground floor. The car park will also contain a parking office, as well an area for refuse storage for the wider campus.
