West Midlands bus operator Diamond Bus is appealing against a penalty imposed for poor timekeeping.
Nick Denton, the West Midlands traffic commissioner, hit Diamond Bus with a £9,075 penalty following a public inquiry into bus services in Redditch and Kidderminster (LTT 17 Aug).
The penalty has been put on hold, pending the outcome of the operator’s appeal to the Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals Chamber), which makes decisions on legal disputes.
