The story of a Jerome Rogers, a 20-year-old man who committed suicide after the escalation of debts associated with two traffic fines, has been dramatised. Killed By My Debt is the latest addition to BBC3’s series of one-off factual dramas that has also included Murdered By My Boyfriend and Murdered For Being Different.
