Bath & North East Somerset Council’s civil enforcement officers (CEOs) have taken delivery of three electric mopeds. The CEOs will use the new mopeds to patrol the council’s streets seven days a week.
The mopeds replace the existing fleet of petrol mopeds. They have been part funded by a government grant provided by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV). As a result of the grant and discount received, the council paid £2,500 for each moped.
