Appeals against parking PCNs are falling in London, but moving traffic appeals are on the rise, reports chief adjudicator Caroline Hamilton

The Environment and Traffic Adjudicators (ETA) heard over 36,000 appeals against penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued for breaches of parking and moving traffic regulations in 2017-2018. The adjudicators’ annual report for 2017-2018 reveals that while there was a reduction in parking appeals, there was a rise in moving traffic appeals.
