Local authorities and Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) are waiting to hear if the Government will allow Local Growth Fund capital grant to be carried over beyond the official end date of March 2021.
The Government awarded LGF to LEPs via Growth Deals, with funding running from 2015/16 to 2020/21. LEPs manage the grant, much of which is spent on local transport.
