A section of a car park in Wrexham has been converted into an arts centre to broaden access to culture as well as revitalise the multi-storey and its ground-floor market. Art and car parks are not natural bedfellows. The association between the two would not normally go beyond provision of parking as an ancillary facility at an arts venue or festival, or commissioning some public art to beautify a car park.
