An electric car-sharing programme in the West Midlands was abandoned after a matter of months because its electric vehicles became a target for vandals.
The E-Car Club initiative was launched last year in Solihull, a town of about 123,000 people near Birmingham. It made 18 all-electric Renault Zoes available for locals to hire.
However, the pilot has been abandoned after vandals targeted the vehicles, the Birmingham Mail has reported.
