The City of Edinburgh Council is combatting the problem of inconsiderately parked vehicles blocking communal bins.
Besides preventing refuse from being collected, double-parking in front of a bin can also put people’s lives at risk as emergency services may be unable to access the street.
Waste collection crews have teamed up with colleagues in civil enforcement officers to raise awareness of the issue.
