The transfer of the West Coast Main Line rail service to the First Trenitalia consortium will provide passengers with new trains, more seats, simplified fares and improved station parking, says the Department for Transport.
First Trenitalia will oversee the introduction of 900 new parking spaces, 100 new electric vehicle charging points, 10 new secure cycle storage facilities and improved bus facilities.
