Extend moving traffic enforcement powers to English local authorities, says Urban Transport Group

Giving English local authorities beyond London the power to enforce moving traffic regulations would help them improve air quality, argues the Urban Transport Group (UTG).

The group, which represents strategic transport bodies across England, wants the Department for Transport to activate Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 for non-London local authorities.
