Catalytic converter thefts on the increase

There has been a spike in thefts of catalytic converters from cars in London this year.

Metropolitan Police figures show that during the first six months of 2019, the number of thefts of catalytic converters rose to 2,894, compared to 1,674 thefts for all of 2018.
