The head of Scottish Power has said UK energy regulator Ofgem needs to be reformed after refusing upgrades to cope with e-vehicle demand.
The regulator refused to allow Scottish Power to invest an extra £42m in upgrading its networks in Scotland and the north-west of England to prepare for rising demand for electric vehicles chargers, according to a report in The Guardian.
