The Parking on Private Land Appeals (POPLA) has heard 190 appeals from Northern Ireland motorists since last May. Of these, 40% were won by drivers.
POPLA is run by Ombudsman Services under contract to the British Parking Association to hear appeals against parking notices by companies belonging to its Approved Operator Scheme.
