Inter-operability for bike hire ‘unlikely’

Shared mobility charity CoMoUK has played down the likelihood of public bike hire firms ever allowing their services to all be available on a single app.

The idea has been proposed by Kent County Council. “The user wants access to a shared bike wherever they are without having to sign up to several different schemes in London alone, let alone when they are outside the capital,” says Kent.
