Airline Flybe this week went into administration, leaving a huge hole in the UK’s regional air connectivity.
The company’s demise left Exeter Airport, Flybe’s base, with just two flights on Thursday rather than 17. Among the cancellations were flights to Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, London and Newcastle.
