The disused top deck of a multi-storey car park in the Scottish town of Kilmarnock is likely to be opened again as part of a £3.2m makeover by East Ayrshire Council.
Lighting of the structure could be improved as part of the transformation.
A structural inspection of the Green Street car park also found the stairwell was deteriorating.
It is understood the works will be phased with part of the car park remaining open....
